Grand Millennium Business Bay Appoints Anne Liyanage as Chief Commercial Officer

Anne Liyanage has been appointed as the new Commercial Director of Grand Millennium Business Bay. Anne steps into the role of assuming the direction of the commercial strategies of the hotel.

Anne started her professional journey in the airline industry in Colombo, after which she moved to the United Arab Emirates to pursue her career in hospitality. Anne has over 15 years of experience as a commercial manager, working with some of the biggest hotel brands in the world, from IHG to Jumeirah Group, Burj Al Arab, Marriott, Meydan Hotels and lately with Accor. Anne holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool and has completed the Masters in Hospitality Management program at Cornell University in the USA.

A passionate believer in emotional well-being, Anne pursued certification in hypnotherapy and rapid transformation therapy. She is the founder of the Mynd at Ease program, which focuses on all aspects of emotional well-being, using her knowledge and experience as the driving force to create winning teams capable of achieving anything they want.

The Grand Millennium Business Bay, led by Managing Director Andrea Strim, is located in the bustling heart of the city, south of Downtown Dubai, along the Dubai Water Canal and close to iconic attractions. The 20-story property features five signature restaurants and bars, including Bella Restaurant & Lounge, Lock, Stock & Barrel and the upcoming Asia Asia restaurant with its Solutions Leisure partners, fully equipped meeting and conference rooms with natural light, a wellness floor and 251 guest rooms and suites with stunning views of downtown Dubai.
